Imprints in earth, reminding, reminding of an absence
A coat is sown using primitive materials. Gaps and cuts occur and are fixed and stitched. The stitches become structurally important.
Without the stitches the coat would fall apart. The coat gains its personality through its stitches.
The person in the coat looks more and more different and individual and fits less and less into a preconceived picture of society.
Within the context of nature the separation of the coat (protection) and its maker is possible.
The coat – like a snakehide skin – is being left back, reminding of an absence of a body/of a past.
